The Cycle 2 program is a bilingual program where 50% of the content is delivered in French and 50% of the content is delivered in English. This feature supports the child becoming a fully bilingual graduate. French Literature and Grammar, History, Science, Art, Music and Physical Education continue to be taught in French. English Literature and Grammar, Math, and Geography and Ethics are taught in English.
In addition, the Cycle 2 students see an increased focus on science and technology as the students move to more specialized content. The math program expands to include multiplication, division, 3-dimentional geometry, statistics and relationship theory. Language development is enhanced with the addition of English into the curriculum for the first time, and both English and French language instruction increase in grammatical content and reading. Canadian History and Geography is also a part of the curriculum.
