Our music program strives to instill in each student the beginning of a lifelong understanding and appreciation of music. Instruction focuses on developing sensory-motor skills and promoting an appreciation of various musical instrumentations and types of compositions as well as encouraging attentiveness. Additional music centred clubs also exist for our more enthusiastic musicians.
The highlights of our Music program include are our annual Holiday and Spring Concerts, where each class and music group has the opportunity to perform their song on stage and showcase what they have learned for their family. As well, new in 2014, our music club participated in Ogilvy’s Toy Tea event in December.
